LKSEC Story

LKS is a 10+2 co-educational, residential school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. The school's inception on a not-for-profit basis dates back to the year 1984 with just one room and 17 students. It is now situated in a sprawling campus of 200 acres and has a strength of 1650 students presently.

The school actively participates in the UNESCO Associated Schools Project, which focuses on networking in education for international cooperation and peace. Additionally, it is a member of the Indian Public Schools Conference (IPSC). LKSEC distinguishes itself from other institutions due to its excellent infrastructure, strong relationships between students and teachers, and a commitment to holistic development, which includes soft skill training for both students and faculty.

LKS places significant importance on the social responsibility of its students. The school fosters a culture of giving through various activities, including the Social Involvement Programme. One of the yearly highlights is donating items to underprivileged and parentless children in local orphanages during religious festivals. Other initiatives that students are encouraged to participate in include collecting school supplies, planting a school garden, promoting recycling habits, planting trees, creating new trails at nature centres, gathering used clothing for donation, and assembling first aid kits for homeless shelters.
